How to swap tokens on Polygon. Polygon is cheap, fast, and full of bridged cousins of Ethereum assets. POL pays gas (the network used to brand this as MATIC — wallets and articles still mix the names). The trader-killing mistake is swapping “USDC” that is a thinly bridged representation while native USDC sits in a deeper pool under a different contract.

Add Polygon, hold POL, ignore the ticker nostalgia
